Good afternoon, and welcome to my blog.
Through this blog I am going to try and track my journey from disgruntled retail employee to Question time panellist.
I have, for years been extremely interested in current affairs: whether they relate to media, politics, celebrity, health, literature... the list goes on... I am always thinking and when I listen to debates on the radio, the tv (especially Question Time) I always have so much to say.
A mixture of circumstance, procrastination and self doubt has meant that although I love to talk and write I have never pursued it any further. People have told me I should and sometimes, I believe them. But these things are easier said than done and thus far I have done nothing concrete to set me on my way to debate nirvana and a place on the panel next to the marvelous David Dimbleby.
So as I step into unchartered territory and begin my journey to become 'the voice of inexperience', wish me luck and I look forward to sharing it with you.

Those of us with little experience of politics, law, finance or media are just as important as the movers and shakers of this world. We are the consumers, the passive audience watching those on the big stage shape our lives. So, I wish to give my armchair rantings a proper airing and my final goal: to be on the panel of BBC's Question Time.
My Story

- I am 24 and live in Belfast, Northern Ireland with my partner of two and a half years (who I will refer to as T.C). I am in domestic bliss with T.C and sickeningly loved up. My career isn't so happy and at the moment I am simply working to earn money. I began an English degree but didn't finish due to some health problems and a subsequent diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. Although I am well looked after medically and extremely lucky to have a strong support network, it is something that does affect my life. One thing I will explain about me is that for someone with Bipolar, I am not a person of extremes.. I have always been very laid back, calm and easy going (even when I am manic!) so my symptoms are very personal to me and most of the time (apart from to those who know me), pretty subtle. I am an active person- although I do have to try at that! I love music and film, am a book-oholic and fancy myself as a bit of an amateur chef. I look forward to meeting all you fellow bloggers!
